Delete your CrewPin account

This page is for the CrewPin app (CrewPin: Crew Time Clock), published by WebsProjects. You can ask us to delete your CrewPin account and the personal information linked to it, from the app or from this page. You don't need the app to use this page.
In the app
- Open CrewPin and sign in.
- On My day, tap the person icon at the top right to open Account.
- Tap Delete account, enter your password and confirm.
Once you send the request, you're signed out on every device and CrewPin stops recording your location. Not using the app? Use the form below.
Without the app
Lost your phone or your login? Use the form below or email legal@websprojects.co.za from the address on your account. Tell us your name and the company you work for.
If you run a company account, choose "My company's account". We'll confirm you're an authorized admin and give you a chance to export your timesheets, payroll and mileage data before we delete the company's instance.
What is deleted
- Your login, profile, email address and kiosk PIN.
- The locations recorded while you were checked in, and your logged drives and odometer readings.
- Your notes, receipt photos and anything else linked to your account that your employer doesn't have to keep.
- Saved punches still waiting on your phone, when you delete from the app.
What is kept, and for how long
- Time and pay records. Employers usually have to keep time and payroll records by law, often for two to three years. In the US, for example, federal law requires payroll records to be kept for three years and time cards for two. Where that applies, your check-in and check-out times, hours and pay-related totals are kept for that period, with your name, and then deleted.
- Activity log entries that show who changed or approved hours are kept with those records, for the same period.
- Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule, so deleted data leaves our backups after that cycle ends.
- Your request and our reply are kept as a record that we handled it.
How long it takes
We confirm your request within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We'll email you when it's done, with what was deleted and anything we had to keep, and why.
